FDOT 5 Year Work Program 2016

The Five-Year Work Program is the result of an ongoing process that prioritizes and funds upcoming transportation system improvements scheduled for the next five years and is prepared in accordance with Section 339.135, Florida Statutes. The development of the Work Program involves extensive coordination with local governments, including Metropolitan Planning Organizations, city and county officials and input from citizens to select road, transit, and enhancement projects that maintain and improve safety, reduce congestion, and increase mobility. The first year of the work program authorizes the Department to expend funds to complete activities and projects. The last four years of the work program are included for planning purposes. The Five-Year Work Program provides clear direction on where to build projects, when to build projects, and how to fund projects.
